Recent FDI changes in India
On 20th June 2016, the Indian Government liberalized the FDI regime, by easing foreign investment in defense, civil aviation, pharmaceuticals, retail, food trade, and broadcasting.
Narendra Modi led Government has been working to increase the “Ease of Doing Business” in India. The country attracted USD 55 billion worth of foreign investment between 2015 and 2016, up 15% from the previous year.
